Letters to Dodge Studio Designs

Dear Dodge Studio;

I did your Old Fashioned Santa during the Holidays two years ago and
actually sold it before it was done. A customer came into my store and
saw it on my bench and just started to make offers on it right there on
the spot. I will send you a picture of the finished piece if you like.

Dear Dodge Studio,

I've been using a Thomas Grip cutter for several years and strongly
agree with your rave reviews. A word of warning, though, about your
recommended grip. I used the same approach for a while and developed
sharp pains in my middle finger. The pains would strike whenever I
reached out with my right arm and hand fully extended. I changed the
grip slightly so that now the flat portion of the saddle is under the
top of the palm at the base of the first two fingers with the curved
part coming up ouside the pointer. This is your recommended grip with
the saddle rotated 90 degrees to the left for a right hander. I think
it gives the same control and is more comfortable. My finger pains
eventually went away.

Thanks,

Jim Bremer

NOTE: I HAVE GRIPPED THE CUTTER THE WAY THAT
I DESCRIBED ON THE FEATURED TOOLS AND SUPPLIES PAGE,
WHICH ADVERSELY AFFECTED JIM, SINCE IT CAME OUT,
WITH NO PERSONAL ILL EFFECTS.
(Still felt it's important that his experiences be shared)

Gary Dodge
