Morton Work Surfaces Morton work surfaces are a grid of square pockets that form a
flat surface for cutting glass that allows small chips to fall beneath the
surface, preventing them from scratching your glass or giving you splinters. |
Morton
System Components Morton system components are all the useful guides and gadgets that plug into the Morton Surfaces. The "uber-gadget" in the lot is the Morton Portable Glass Shop. An incredible collection of jigging and angle guiding tools that make repetitive shapes a snap and will allow you to cut identical strips and panels effortlessly. Another favorite of mine is the Morton Thrifty-Light, light box. Click here to see (or order) all of the available Morton System Components.

Morton Layout Blocks Making panels that come out clean and square, just the right shape and size is no accident. You Need to use a jig! Layout blocks make jig building simple. Just use the included pins and a piece of ceiling tile, homasote or plywood and you're in business.

Morton
Extras Morton produces other unique and useful gadgets that fit into a variety of other categories and I have dubbed them the "Morton Extras". Included in the extras are the Morton Twister which allows you to make your own twisted wire for decorative use and can save you a bundle over buying twisted wire by the foot, and the Morton Glass Caddy. A handy table top glass rack to hold the small glass sheets you are currently working with. Other "extras" are in my
Grinder Accessory and
Specialty Breaking categories. These include the Mr. Splash grinder
surround, Grinder Tongs for holding small pieces while grinding, the
Safety Splash grinder eye shield, The M-80 breaker and the Safety Break. |
