I did all my homework on my glass supplies, took all my classes, looked on ebay for hours and sent for my goodes. Made my oun pattern ,cut my glass and was just waiting for my grinder. The day it was delivered i ran to set it up and as soon as put the glass to it the bit would slide doun the shaft. Now i know you have to tighten the srew on the flat side of the shaft and no im not telling the name of the grinder because i like it.Enyways after messing up three pieces of glass i got smart and would jurk the glass away befor the bit fell. This took a long time to grind my glass but that was ok because i was waiting for my tem.contol and iron to be delivered. The big day came and i ran to set up my iron(no im not going to say the name brand, lets just say i got it cheap)I got my iron nice and hot and stuck it in a real nice soggy, wet spong and the dang thing didnt seem to work for me after that.Well it seems every thing i learned in class just went right over my head and out the window i had open. I forgot you have to but your tip right on the foil(yes i did foil)I just kind of hung my tip above the foil and went to toun. What came out was a big thick gloppy mess with solder spitting every which way because i thought if a little flux is good, more would be better. After my master piece cooled doun i picked it up and it just kind of wraped around my hand and flux was coming out from under the solder and running doun my arm.To make a long story short(ya right)i found your site and i just want to say(THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU)I have a new bit and iron and your web page. thanks
vickie
