I'm new to stained glass and have come across a problem when soldering, especially 6mm lead came.The came melts no matter how fine or quick i try to do it. The solder i am using is 40/60 and the flux is tallow. Having read some of the post's i must admit that i am not using a temp controlled iron. I use a Weller 75w iron. Would that alone be the cause of this problem.
