Hi Jerry,
The lamp base is just your average off the shelf lamp base. Something in the 12" or 14" range (harp not included) if I recall correctly.
As for the banding, start with your regular stained glass supplier. If they don't have it maybe they'll get some for you. Otherwise it is hard to say. If you live in NYC you can go to Grand Brass on Grand Street (little Italy). they have a great selection of bandings and other cool stuff in brass.
