Thanks again,,,, I went out and got the newest cordless Dremel, and the diamond coated bit with the point you suggested, It only took 3 hours to charge it up and tried your water technique. WOW, what a difference! I think its the point on the bit that helped, and I like the smaller hole it makes. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

: Hrrmm... well I suppose it *could* be if you got sloppy, but I only put about a half inch of water in the dish and of that, only a little bit comes up over the rigid styrofoam. Just enough to make your drilling surface continually wet. I recently ordered a drill press attachment for the Dremel, am waiting for it to arrive, and I've heard good reports from others who use one. Same method, little dish with styrofoam and water, but I'm thinking the bits will last longer with a controlled motion. I completely destroyed one bit by wiggling it around too much when I was drilling.
