Thanks to Shari and Tammy for the advice, I'll get myself some Sal Ammoniac. Been using a sponge but making sure to wipe off iron after it's cool. Glad I didn't use steel wool as it would have abraided the tip, ruining it. And I'm sure the webmaster here will do something about that Let's Travel posting; somebody has invaded this website. When you click into it it's all in cryllic, I think Russian. Again, thanks to all.
