Hi Kristina,

First a good wash using almost anything if I'm planning to patina.

Then apply patina and cleanup using CJ's flux and patina remover for one or two go arounds using either a toothbrush or a fairly fine natural bristle brush.

After that if I want shine and a little extra protection I use Chem-O-Pro. Shines the metal and even makes the glass feel like silk!

Lately I've been experimenting with Kwik-Clean. They are touting clean-up without water. Just spray it on and rub it off, for the most part. Seems too good to be true, but ya gotta try. If the stuff turns out to actually work it'll be great.
Takes a while to tell.

: Hello Again,

: What are your finishing steps after you have soldered a copper-foil piece?

: Flux Remover, then wash, then polish with a wax for example?

: Also, is the wax polish necessary on both sides for corrosion prevention? What is your sequence & why?

: Thank you.
