Linda...go find a class in lead came technique. There's quite a lot to doing it. Also, it's very different from the foil method....and no, there's no foil involved. Lead is less forgiving of imprecise cutting than foil. The whole mystique is different. Soldering and finishing are also a totally different world.

Get a teacher or read a good instruction book and decide if you can teach yourself from that. It will help if you're already proficient in Copper foil technique. Many teachers won't give instruction in Lead until you can do foiled pieces...usually for a year or so. Lead isn't exactly Rocket science, but no, it's not what you could call easy.
