We have been selling the Taurus ringsaw here for a couple of years and they seem to be fairly trouble free but we recently got in the Gryphon and from what I've seen so far, the Gryphon is easier to change blades on and has no grommets to wear out and replace.
I think the ringsaw is a bit faster than the Gryphon with the "slitting blade" installed, which is their fastest blade, but if you are using the saw that much maybe you need a glass cutting workshop. The saws should be reserved only for "special cases"
