Gary, I find it amazing that you would come right out and say that Inland makes trashy grinders. Thought I was the only fool who said stuff like that. There are reports on other forums of the things actually catching fire. I take it that you don't sell Inland products? I NEVER buy Inland stuff..I'm proud to have an Inland free glass room. All my experience with it came when I was too new to know better and followed bad recommendations. All the stuff I bought then has been trashed.

Now that you went public with your opinion you'd better watch for e-mail like the one I got from the Pres. of Inland who was less than pleased that I speak ill of his products. He was fairly personally abusive which only made it more fun to reply to his mail. I don't want Inland to die off. I want them to IMPROVE their line of products. Maybe if they spent time doing that instead of attempting to intimidate their detractors in mail it would happen. If anybody thinks their grinders are bad....just try the Soldering Irons. They're a joke among serious glassers and the Pros wouldn't touch one.

: The mistake you made was buying an Inland Grinder. Invest in a Glastar grinder and you'll have years and years of carefree grinding.

: Of course don't forget that you have a 5 year warrantee on that machine and they'll fix it for free. That may be a good thing, but you'll still have an Inland machine after it's fixed :-( Oh well...
