Hi Vince,

We do not publish anything that would suit your needs. Also, as I'm fairly sure you're already aware, anything you find will need to be adapted to suit your situation in one way or another.

That having been said, your best bet is to design something yourself. You'll need to look at a bunch of stained glass panels and find something that has a nice "lay to the land" for starters. Once you see something with an appropriate amount of sky and ground, with the right amount of rise and fall to it, you'll need to make some measurements of proportion. Does the sky begin one third of the way up, or half way up, etc.

Create either a full size blank paper for drawing your design on or a scale drawing with the correct panel proportions and then make some measurements so you can start to rough in the lines for the ground, sky, mountains etc.

Now if you already have some patterns for snowmen, trees, animals, whatever you'd like in your scene, you can use them. If not you can always find these patterns easily in a number of pattern books available at your stained glass retailer.

Adjust the size of these elements to work with the ground and mountains (or whatever) that you have laid out. Make sure that you pay attention to the proportional size of things. Stuff that is closer to you should be larger and stuff off in the distance should be smaller.

If you really just don't want to get involved in designing things yourself talk to your local studio and see if they will work up a design for you on a commission basis, but be prepared to pay. Working up a good design takes many hours and they deserve to be compensated appropriately. I don't think a couple of hundred dollars would be out of line for a project of this magnitude professionally designed.

Hope this helps.

: Looking for source of a pattern for a winter seen, including a snowman. I want to do a transum window. I'm thinking of doing a nine foot window in 3 or 4 panels that flow together or repete in each other. Thank for any help!
