Hi CasSandra,

The following link will bring you to a page on our site called Getting Started.

We have two nice books featured there that will get you going, as well as a few stained glass starter kit options. The kits range from "bare bones", the bare minimum you'd need to get started to the Deluxe kit, that has most everything you'd ever need.
Beyond that, there are always extras that you can find to treat yourself to, if you wish, and of course the cost of the materials when you make a project. Glass, your greatest ongoing expense, can be expected to vary widely in price depending on the manufacturer and the color, generally starting in the $4.50 per square foot price range.
You'll need solder, copper foil, flux and other incidentals for each project as well, but they are only a fraction of the glass cost.

: Can you suggest a stained glass instructional book for beginners? Where I would be able to purchase it, and a list of supplies I would need to begin? As well as what I may be looking at in terms of a long term investment in this hobby?
