Hi Donna,

You don't say just what you see as lacking in your quality. Do you know what it is that is bothering you?

I would suggest that if you have been shopping at a good shop with caring owners, you bring your work in to them for critique. They can tell you what areas you need to work on and make suggestions.

Here at Dodge Studio we occasionally offer special "clinics" in our class schedule where folks can hone their skills in a particular area of weakness.

: I've been doing stained glass for about 2 years now but I'm starting to get pretty frustrated with myself lately. I would hardly call myself a novice any longer and think I should be getting better and better at honing my skills. Instead, just lately, I'm finding...try as I might...that my finished product is lacking in quality. I find myself asking, "What's wrong with me?" and am considering giving up the art as it is too expensive to be turning out the inferior work I've been doing. I'm serious. Has anyone else out there experienced what I'm experiencing? Is this a phase or what? Should I go back to a stained glass class and start all over again? Help!!! I don't want to give this up.
