I have been working in stained glass for about 5 years now and have begun to have a problem with a residue left on my finished piece. It runs around each piece close to the foil. I have tried different cleaning agents (Windex, Dawn, 409) to clean the pieces but if I get to rough I destroy the patina. Can you help? What am I doing wrong?
