: Just recently I completed cutting and coppering a free standing sun catcher that measures 11x12. I am now ready to solder the project. I was reading somewhere that in order to have the same thickness on the outer fringe of the project as the thickness created within (two pieces soldered together) that you could solder with copper tinning all around the project. If this is something that works well, how do you handle the odd shaped glass piece, soldering iron, solder and copper tinning all at once.
