Donna....Don't give up. I find that this is a very relaxing hobby. Technique will come in time. I have been messing around with glass for a few years, and I still have trouble. I take my projects up to my local glass shoppe and have them look at it. They have even fixed my errors for me for free! They were kind enough to tell me where I went wrong and what I can do about my problems. I know it is expensive, but the rewards are emmense. I get such pleasure out of seeing the faces of the ones that I choose to give my projects to as gifts. I only have so many windows. hahahaha1:

I've been doing stained glass for about 2 years now but I'm starting to get pretty frustrated with myself lately. I would hardly call myself a novice any longer and think I should be getting better and better at honing my skills. Instead, just lately, I'm finding...try as I might...that my finished product is lacking in quality. I find myself asking, "What's wrong with me?" and am considering giving up the art as it is too expensive to be turning out the inferior work I've been doing. I'm serious. Has anyone else out there experienced what I'm experiencing? Is this a phase or what? Should I go back to a stained glass class and start all over again? Help!!! I don't want to give this up.
