Hi Jenn,

Bevels are fun and easy and look really cool too!

And, yes, you solder and foil them just like any other glass with the exception that since the front surface is on an incline, you need to foil just a hair wider on the front of the bevel to prevent seeing through to the foil on the back.

If you are using a cluster I'd recomment that you foil and solder the cluster together before designing the rest of the panel. sometimes the cartoons that come with the clusters are not that accurate and if you put it together first everything comes out better. Also, some clusters come with the cartoon set up for came while others are set for foil.

: Hello everyone! Ive been doing stained glass for awhile but I have never done any bevel clusters. Do you foil & solder them just like stained glass? I would like to do some pieces on a border also, how would you border them? Thanks so very much for any help you can give me!

: Jenn :)
