I'd probably go with clear silicon bathtub caulk.

It is fairly foggy, much like vasoline, but when applied thinly is virtually invisible. If the surface of the glass blocks is wavy this might not be desireable as the thickness of the silicone will vary where it fills the voids and may appear cloudy.

: Am attempting to make some stained glass garden blocks(from glass blocks from Home Depot) for a friend and want to know what kind of glue can be used so that it won't discolor or "show through". Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Hate to spend the time and have it not work.
