I would like to make a bathroom window. It will be the only window in the room so I would need to open it. I was thinking of a solid piece on the bottom that doesn't open and then the little top piece that opens out or down. [I hope I explained that right]. My next question is should it be foil or lead came? It will be exposed to outside elements and the inside to bathroom steam. But I met this lady in the glass shop I go to and she did it in foil and then had it insulated. Next question......how do you get the window in? I mean ....once you've made your stained glass piece do you knock out the glass from a regular window and put yours in? Or do you try and frame it to fit the opening? Or do you place it over the regular window and secure it?
