: I've been doing stained glass for about 2 years now but I'm starting to get pretty frustrated with myself lately. I would hardly call myself a novice any longer and think I should be getting better and better at honing my skills. Instead, just lately, I'm finding...try as I might...that my finished product is lacking in quality. I find myself asking, "What's wrong with me?" and am considering giving up the art as it is too expensive to be turning out the inferior work I've been doing. I'm serious. Has anyone else out there experienced what I'm experiencing? Is this a phase or what? Should I go back to a stained glass class and start all over again? Help!!! I don't want to give this up.

Donna don't be so hard on yourself, maybe you need to get away and re group. This reminds me of golf, I have been playing for (4) years and my first (2) were pretty good, then suddenly I forgot how to do it!!!! I seem to be trying as hard but don't know what's wrong. All i know is I won't give up.
