: Is a saddle bar requirered on a 4foot x 6foot window that is constructed using zinc, lead came and copper foil? The frame work is also made of zinc. Any information would be greatly apprecatied.

First, saddle bars are the traditional round bars the get tied to the window with copper wires that are solderd to the window. Their main purpose is to prevent the window from being blown into the building, they offer the least amount of reinforcement. What you probibly need is flat bars soldered to the window. The need for rebar and it's placement depends on the design, how and where the window is to be used. More then likely a 4x6 window will need some type of rebar.
