Angel,

Are you saying that the fanout does not have three blades?

How does it work?

GaryD

: Tony, I just put a message about this on another forum. I've owned every pattern shears out there except for the REALLY cheapos. You get what you PAY for in equipment. The best shears for my money is the "Fanout" brand. Lightweight, slender, precise and easy to use with good technique. I threw asay the James easy cut...they're really awkward to use. I don't know ANYBODY who ever kept or used the 3-blade monstrosities.

: I only kept a Fanout Foil and Lead shears, a Mika Mosaic shears and a Glastar Foil shears. The Glastar are good, but they'r outrageously expensive, not being produced any longer by the company and HEAVY. I recommend that you try the Fanouts. They're reasonably priced and do a great job.

: > For some reason cutting the pattern out with the three bladed shears is the most frustrating for me as for some reason some of the pieces I cut out quite don't fit. I saw some where the three bladed shears that were a smaller size and not as long and suppose to be easier, I can't remember where I saw them. Cans someone tell me where i can purchase the smaller size shears? Thanks
