What you're describing is exactly what I want to try.
I'm not sure how to design the architecture
of the shade so that it supports the weight
of the glass and solder. I think it could get
quite heavy. I have 18 gauge copper wire, but
I hope that's "heavy" enough.
Based on what you've seen, with an expert eye,
can you spot any immediate issues I might have to
deal with?
