If you ask the DiamondCrete people here's what they say about the matter:

"DiamondCRETE can and will stand up to extreme weather conditions when properly mixed and cured and sealed. Refer to mixing instructions for more information. It recommended that if you bring your patio/lawn furniture that you bring in your garden art for the winter. You have spent time and money on these beautiful pieces and you should protect them as you would your furniture. "

And on the package it says:

"Stones should be checked annually and resealed as needed."

The final question all of this is poses is how much trouble is too much for the average hobbyist?

The ease of use of DiamondCrete is what set the whole stone thing in motion and I'm sure that a lot of my customers would not want to bother with all the fuss of collecting all that stuff, having all those sacks, bottles and boxes around, and mixing it up when needed.

In the final analysis we have not heard from any of our customers who've had their DiamondCrete stones deteriorate but I personally still give the same answer I gave here when asked because I personally tend to be a bit on the cautious side. Furthermore, I'd give pretty much the same advice for any other formulation.
Of course these are Upstate NY winters, not quite Wisconsin, but no slouch either.

Q2: Is it neccessary to bring the stones inside in the winter since I live in Wisconsin. What type of cement do you use?
