Very interesting about the black patina. What about copper? I am doing an 8" window and need solder it in sections, bring to the site and then solder the whole thing together. This might take a couple of days. I only have an hour or two per day to work on this project. Any suggestions and I was wondering if I could wait before I patina. Thanks for any help!
