Yes I HAVE tried and DONE what I suggested, otherwise I wouldn't have suggested it in the first place. *I* don't offer advice to people in areas of this medium that I don't know about. IT WORKS. It WORKED for me TWICE. And floral formers are a LOT more than 5 bucks.
: Have YOU ever tried any of the things you speak of? I have, doesn't work. I slumped into a stainless plate that I should have rekiln washed. It IS art. For cheap( $1-$5) stainless steel molds go to any thrift store fore plates,platers,bowls etc.
