: : Have YOU ever tried any of the things you speak of? I have, doesn't work. I slumped into a stainless plate that I should have rekiln washed. It IS art. For cheap( $1-$5) stainless steel molds go to any thrift store fore plates,platers,bowls etc.

Maybe it works with floral formers as there is little glass to metal contact. With plate molds where there is alot of contact, those techniques don't work. I even tried freezing the mold and using a propain torch on it. Alll that happened is the glass cracked. I said cheap forms for plates,bowls and platers at the thrift store. Anything made of stainless steel can be used as a mold.
