I recently ordered and received the Traditional Star pattern. It's the Moravian star. The parts list doesn't say anything about what type or wattage bulb to use, and there doesn't appear to be any system of venting the heat from the bulb. After reading through the instructions it looks like it's closed up pretty tight. Most lamps generate some heat and there are slits in the vase cap to allow the heat to escape. I'd really like to make one of these but if the design doen't work, I don't want to waste my time. Anybody have any experience with these??
