: Hi, I just bought a kiln for glass fusing and slumping and am in the experimental phase, do you have to buy 96 or 90 glass (so expensive) or can I try to fuse spectrum cathedral glass together. Any suggestions for getting glass off my stainless steel mold? It's fused on. Thanks

You CAN fuse pieces from the same sheet together. Besides compatability, untested glass can change colors (strike) when fired. You shown have lightly sandblasted the SS mold and then applied kiln wash. Your mold is now ART. Get a new mold.
